Are you hypnotized by this cake? Then you should go to Tradiciones Comida y Postres shop for some good food and dessert. This place has been in Playa Del Carmen for about one year now. We stopped in a while ago and had great pie with great meringue on top. The place has stuck in our heads since and this place has stuck around so they must be doing something right.
We talked with Veronica who is from Argentina and works here. Like many fellow Argentinians, they opened a restaurant here in Playa and have added to the food culture. Besides all the sweet stuff they do have pizza and empanadas among other things.
We had the rolled cake which, one more time we were very happy customers. It was not over sweet and very moist. So we do recommend this place for a little sweet bite or maybe you need some desserts for a dinner party.

It is located on 34th St. between 40th and 45th Avenues on the south side of the street.
