Here are all your Cancun International Airport transportation options. When you arrive in Cancun you can take the public ADO bus to downtown Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. There are also private transfers that will take you direct to your hotel or rental. These are the two forms of transportation we recommend.

This is why it is important to save time and have a transfer waiting for you. Tip: You can save between $15 and $20 USD by booking a round-trip transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Private transfer to Puerto Morelos area from the airport
Puerto Morelos is just south of the Cancun Airport and will take a little over 20 minutes. Tip: Booking a round trip will save you between $10-$30 USD.
Private transfer to Playa Del Carmen from the Cancun Airport

We have found the transportation system pretty easy and affordable in Mexico. The transfer from the airport to our condo is 50 minutes and if that was a ride in our home of New Jersey they would charge near double that.

Would u know where I can find ADO schedule and routes/prices, need transportation from puerto morelos to chiquila Holbox and back

There are no direct busses from Puerto Morelos to Holbox. You will have to go to Cancun or Playa first.
I have always found the ADO bus to be very professional, clean, with good air conditioning and speedy. It is a good service if you are going to Cancun or Playa. They however do not go to the resorts.

ADO is still in operation from Cancun Airport to Puerto Morelos. Is this correct?
We just looked at the ADO website and do not see Puerto Morelos listed anymore. We will have to ask at the bus station to confirm this but it does look like they have removed service to there.
We always book ahead so there is someone waiting for us at the airport. We always watch people that just arrived running around like a chicken with their heads cut off looking for rides and paying the most for a taxi.
