The Rauxa Show
The Rauxa show has entered its second season here in the Riviera Maya. This dinner show with live entertainment will be a memorable night out! Not only is the meal good it is also a well performed show. The theme this year is Sweet Dementia.
The Rauxa show is at the Royal Catalonia Hotel between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. There is a special dinner theater that designed for this show. It is open to the public.
What is the Rauxa dinner show like?
When you arrive at the theater you will be seated and offered a welcome cocktail. The intimate theater is nice because it offers great seats and views from any table. It is also well air conditioned.
Once the show starts you will be entertained by top performers like musicians, acrobats, dancers and singers. Interspersed during the show is the meal. Ample time is allowed to create a flow between watching and enjoying your gourmet meal.
This is an adults only show. The Rauxa show is a mix of cabaret, dance, and burlesque.
The show ends at 10:00pm.
The menu for the Rauxa dinner show
When you are seated your waiter will come with a menu for you. Here are the new dinner options:
- Starters: a selection of bread, fried vegetable chips, cheese and pumpkin seed lollipops.
- Appetizers: choice of a seafood aguachiles or duck mole and the vegetarian option of jicama tacos.
- Main Plates: Angus streak with sweet potato puree or Barramundi fish with false risotto, or the vegetarian option of crispy ravioli, roasted eggplant, cheese, tomato and basil.
Dessert: A mix of different textures and temperatures. You will taste chocolate mouse, dots of sauces and flavors.
Bottled water is served on the table and open bar. Premium cocktails and wine are an extra charge.
How to get to the Rauxa show
From Cancun and Playa Del Carmen: Drive south on the 307 Highway. About 5 minutes past Puerto Aventuras, you will see the Catalonia Royal Tulum Hotel on your left. You will need to go just past the hotel and loop back at the next return. This drive from Playa Del Carmen will be about 18 minutes.
From Tulum: Drive north on the 307 Highway to the Catalonia Royal Tulum Hotel. This hotel is about 30 minutes from the center of Tulum.
Once you arrive at the main gate just tell security that you are there for the Rauxa Show. There is parking to the left of the main lobby.
