Xcaret’s Scenic Tower
When you go to Xcaret park you have many things to check out. One of the high points of any tour is Xcaret’s scenic tower. Here you can see the full Riviera Maya and all of Xcaret.
This rotating scenic tower will show you the sights from 80 meters (262 Ft). You can see Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Xplor park and the Port of Calica very well. This is just one of the included activities at Xcaret park.

Visiting Xcaret and going on the scenic tower
One of the many things to do at Xcaret is visit the scenic tower. We recommend doing this earlier in the day. We even suggest doing the park in a clockwise direction to see everything. If you do this, you will start near the entrance and then visit the Hacienda. After that you can walk over to the grand theater and take the scenic tower.
The other good time to go is around 6:00pm. This way you are already near to the theater for the grand show. Xcaret’s scenic tower closes at 6:45, so don’t wait too long before going.
The wait is usually not long for the scenic tower. Once the doors open everyone circles around in the rotating tower and takes a seat facing outward. While you are on the ride there are announcements in English and Spanish about what you are seeing. This tower is air-conditioned and handicap accessible.
