One look around Playa Del Carmen and you notice it is a pretty fit place. With year-round beach weather there is no time for winter weight and swimsuit season is all year round! A large majority of people that go to gyms in Playa Del Carmen are bilingual. Evolve Fitness Gym 24th Street and 5th Avenue
This is the flagship gym Evolve has. It is right off 5th Avenue. This gym is a 15,000 square ft. facility with modern equipment. Most of the equipment here is Hoist or Cybex. There is a stretch area, free-weights, sections of machines grouped by muscle group and a cardio area with a view out over 5th Avenue.
Also, at this gym there are lockers, showers, sauna, juice bar, and towel service. This gym is air conditioned.

As you can see from the list below, there are a lot of classes included in your membership. The TRX is especially popular in Playa. The only classes not included are the Pilates and pole dancing class which can be paid for separately.

Personal Training at Evolve
If you want to work along with a trainer, then Evolve has you covered. Some of the trainers are bilingual if your Spanish is not up to par for training. This gym is on the second floor of a building at the corner of Juarez Avenue and the highway. This gym is air conditioned. There is a parking lot available for the businesses in this building.

Evolve Fitness Gym Constituyentes Avenue
This gym is good if you have a car and live on the other side of the highway. The gym is on the second floor of a small plaza. All of the equipment here is new. Bring a towel to this gym because there is not towel service. There is not air conditioning at this gym.
This gym is 600 pesos a month.
