Visiting Lido Beach Club, Playa Del Carmen
In the center of Playa Del Carmen you will find the Lido Beach Club. This is one of the beach clubs that people can enjoy while in Playa. Lido is a smaller to mid-size beach club with meal and bar service. This beach club is popular with tourists and expats, especially after some of the other popular beach clubs closed. People like this beach club because it has a good ambiance and decent food options.
So how does the Lido Beach Club different from other beach clubs in Playa Del Carmen? The atmosphere is a little calmer that some of the beach clubs up near 38 Street-CTM Avenue where louder music is played. Lido is a little more upscale from many of the beach clubs from Juarez to 8th Street, where some smaller and more local beach clubs are. The quality of the food is a little more upscale that most beach clubs in Playa, and this is reflected in the prices on the menu.
Lido offers covered dining areas, a stylish bar, beach loungers and umbrellas. The beach here is a little narrow and not large, but this adds to the more intimate setting. If Playa is experiencing higher amounts of seaweed, this beach is prone to get more than average. See our guide to which beaches get more or less seaweed.
