The ADO Bus Website
Here is a little bit of important information that can save you some frustration. The official website for the ADO Bus Company is here.
- The website loads a little slow.
- Not all bus schedules are online (We know, this does not make any sense). Or the website says there are no tickets for that day (it might be true if it is the next day or a holiday season, but often the schedules are not online, and you cannot get tickets on the website.)
- Sometimes destinations need to be spelled in Spanish. For example, Tulum Airport is Aeropuerto Tulum on the website.
- Foreign credit cards usually do not work on the website.
- Buying tickets in advance can get you a discount.
- Check to see if the bus is direct or has a connection or has multiple stops. Usually, direct buses cost more but is worth the extra pay for the amount of time you save.
