This hotel always seems to be popular probably in part because it is a good value. Below are some descriptions of this hotel and why we like it.
In the lobby there are two computers for use and there is Wi-Fi in the common areas of this hotel.
There are two small pools at this hotel. One is in the main courtyard as you enter the hotel and the second one is on the back half of the property and is a little more private.
There are 27 rooms at Hotel Casa Ticul. There are 16 standard king rooms, 6 standard double rooms, 3 junior suites with king size beds and 2 master suites with king size beds.

We ran some random dates into the link on the side of Hotels.com and came up with prices from about $72-$123USD a night for the more basic rooms. That is a very good deal for this hotel for what it has to offer.
There are small patios around the hotel where you can sit and read or relax.
On the roof each morning they serve breakfast under the palapa. It is an enjoyable place to start your day for your adventures in sightseeing. The staff is very pleasant and offers Mexican specialties each morning.
We recommend this hotels for couples that want an affordable boutique hotel in Playa Del Carmen and that has a little local flavor. This hotel is for adults only and any youth have to be 16 or older. Since this hotel is on 5th Avenue it affords you the opportunity to walk out and choose from many fine restaurants just a few blocks away like La Perla Pixan Cuisine or get some French pasties and Chez Celine.
