Cinco Restaurant is one of the new restaurants on the roof of the Thompson Hotel. This restaurant is normally open during the week Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch from 8:30am-5:00pm but when the weekend comes they have a special brunch. Here are the details.

Cinco Restaurant’s Weekend Brunch

For brunch you can order off the menu and for an additional 250 pesos you can have bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Marys, or Bloody Marias (a Bloody Mary with tequila).

You can eat and drink on this beautiful new rooftop which is atop the Thompson Hotel. The restaurant is open air and has great views out over Playa Del Carmen and the Caribbean. This makes this a very enjoyable setting for a relaxed weekend brunch.

The Menu at Cinco

You can choose from about 23 menu items. There are lighter things like fruit plates and salads to their raw bar with oysters, ceviche or shrimp cocktail and then there are the fuller menu options like chilaquiles, fried chicken with waffles, or a burger just to name a few.

Prices range from $7 USD- $21USD. The food is fresh and is moderate portions. Below are some photos of some of the menu items.

Brunch is Saturday and Sundays 8:30am-3:00pm.

Where is Cinco Restaurant?

Cinco Restaurant is on the roof of the Thompson Hotel on 12th Street between 5th Avenue and 10th Avenue. You will need to enter the hotel lobby and they will take you to the elevator. As soon as you step out of the elevator on the roof you are at Cinco.
